Felieke van der Leest creates remarkable and unusual characters in micro crochet and knitting. When she was young she lived close to a zoo. Now she has her own circus of performers and special acts.

Wow - I guess these might be THE definition of whimsical! So charming - and weird - which is why I like them. :)

Amazing! I teach high school art and just completed a crochet unit with my Fiber Design class. I am so inspired and will be sharing these pieces with them....Thank you for putting them on the blog!
