Here is the exquisitely tactile folk art of Morna Crites-Moore.
Morna loves to gather found textiles to assemble and collage into rugs and
mini quilts. She felts her wool from recycled sweaters and blankets to create
her playful variations on penny rugs and folk art images.

Tracy Jamar has been devoted to textile restoration for over 30 years.
Following many years as head of restoration for America Hurrah Antiques,
she opened her own studio in 1985 to restore and conserve antique
quilts and hooked rugs. She is widely recognized for her superb craftsmanship
and sensitive approach to conservation. Following the loss of her
beloved horse, Arrow, she started designing hooked rugs and purses. Recently,
she has returned to school to focus on her own creative
expression. I can't wait to see what appears in the next chapter.
